November 19, 2018

Service begins on a new express route, replacing and re-numbering the 95E YORK MILLS EXPRESS service, operating during rush hours. The service also adds express stops at Brookbanks Drive on Parkwoods Village Drive.

Buses operate from York Mills station via east on York Mills, southeast on Parkwoods Drive, east on Ellesmere and southeast on Military Trail to University of Toronto at Scarborough Loop. Eastbound 95E buses operate EXPRESS from York Mills Station to Markham Road, stopping only at Bayview Avenue, Leslie Street, Don Mills Road, Valley Woods Road, Brookbanks Drive, Victoria Park Avenue, Pharmacy Avenue, Warden Avenue, Birchmount Avenue, Kennedy Road, Midland Avenue, Brimley Road, McCowan Road and Bellamy Road; 995 buses then operate LOCAL from Markham Road to University of Toronto at Scarborough Loop. Buses return via northwest on Military Trail, west on Ellesmere, northwest on Parkwoods Village Drive and west on York Mills to York Mills Station. Westbound buses operate LOCAL from University of Toronto at Scarborough Loop to Markham Road; 995 buses then operate EXPRESS from Markham Road to York Mills Station, stopping only at Bellamy Road, McCowan Road, Brimley Road, Midland Avenue, Kennedy Road, Birchmount Road, Warden Avenue, Pharmacy Avenue, Victoria Park Avenue, Brookbanks Drive, Sandover Drive, Don Mills Road, Leslie Street, Bayview Avenue, and York Mills station.

April 1, 2019

New midday service introduced on the 995 YORK MILLS EXPRESS between York Mills station and U of T Scarborough. This service will operate at intervals of every 15 minutes.

March 23, 2020

Due to the loss of ridership resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, service on this route is temporarily suspended, with resources diverted to maintaining service on the parallel local routes.

January 4, 2021

Service is restored on this express route, operating at its February 2020 schedules.

May 9, 2021

Due to construction taking place at York Mills Centre, the TTC bus terminal serving York Mills station is closed for a period of three months, starting on this day. 995 YORK MILLS EXPRESS buses are routed to a temporary terminal set up in the parking lot on the northwest corner of Wilson and Yonge. No change to scheduled departure times or destination signs.

January 9, 2023

Coinciding with the cancellation of the 95C YORK MILLS service to Ellesmere Station, two express stops were added both ways on Chipstead Road (#7467) and Banbury Road West (#7464) to serve the students at York Mills Collegiate Institute and École secondaire Étienne-Brûlé.
