December 26th, 1941

Service begins on a new route serving Carlaw Avenue, starting from a loop at Old Gerrard (looping via Old Gerrard, Boston, Baderow and Carlaw), running south on Carlaw to Commissioners, looping via Commissioners, Logan and Keating (now Lake Shore Boulevard) and then back up Carlaw to Gerrard. “ROSEDALE” transfers used.

November 8, 1943

In addition to rush hour service, one late-evening trip is set up, continuing along Commissioners to Cherry and arriving at Carton and Cherry at 11:45 p.m.

March 9, 1944

New “CARLAW” transfers introduced.

One trip operated on Sundays by a MAIN bus over the Carlaw route to serve war plant workers.

June 4, 1945

Service combined with the ASHBRIDGE bus route.
