High Park-Roncesvalles (1937-1938)

Saturday, June 12, 1937

Service begins on a temporary bus route operating out of old Howard Park Garage via Howard Park Avenue to High Park loop, returning via the reverse route. This temporary bus gives service to Howard Park Avenue while CARLTON are cut back due to work being done on the Dundas Street bridge west of Lansdowne Avenue. Buses operate Monday to Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sundays and Holidays. Ten minute service is provided using 21-passenger REO buses. CARLTON transfers are issued.

Saturday, June 19, 1937

Service extended east via Howard Park and Dundas to Sterling Road.

Wednesday, September 22, 1937

Service temporarily discontinued as work on the Dundas Street bridge finishes for the season, and regular CARLTON streetcar service resumes.

Tuesday, May 3, 1938

Service resumes as work begins on the western section of the Dundas Street bridge. Buses operate from High Park loop via east on Howard Park Avenue and Dundas Street to Souroran. Buses operate Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sundays and holidays from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. at 10 minute intervals.

Saturday, November 5, 1938

Last day of operation. Last bus operates at 11 p.m.
