Service begins on a new bus route operating within the City of Toronto’s fare zone from Jane loop (at the corner of Jane and Bloor) via north on Jane, east on Annette and north on Runnymede Road, wying at the Dundas/Runnymede intersection, returning via the same route. Assigned route #7, JANE service replaces the HIGH PARK bus.

Service extended from the Dundas/Runnymede intersection via north on Runnymede and east on St. Clair Avenue, wying at Mulock Avenue (one block east of Keele Street, returning via the reverse route.

August 28, 1931
Service extended from the St. Clair/Keele intersection north on Keele to Keele loop (at Weston Road and Keele), instead of wying at Mulock and St. Clair. This is due to the construction of a new underpass beneath the Canadian National Railway tracks.
November 21, 1931
Buses operate through the new Jane bus loop inside the existing streetcar loop at Jane and Bloor.
November 18, 1942
The loading platform at Jane loop is relocated to the far eastern end of the loop.
October 5, 1947
Last day of operation. Service replaced the next day by the new ANNETTE trolley coach and a rerouted RUNNYMEDE bus.
