TTC 0000

When the Twin Coach model 23-R became available in the mid-1930s, the TTC eagerly purchased 30 of these rear-engined "low floor" buses. Another 50 arrived by 1940, allowing replacement of the Transportation Commissions collection of assorted body-on-chassis fleet, and in the process becoming Toronto's "standard" bus until the arrival of General Moors' "old look".
