Lakeshore GO 01 - Oshawa 20140704

Here we see VIA Rail's station building for Oshawa. These are two separate structures: the more historical train station on the left, and the stairway and bridge to the train platforms on the right, separated by a ten foot gap. Note that the GO Train tracks dead-end a few feet from this station. To extend service east from here, GO Trains would likely have to cross off the GO sub and back onto the Kingston sub tracks before this station. This photo was taken by James Bow on the afternoon of July 4, 2014.
