A sign points out the function of the Vehicle Cleaning and Inspection facility at Eglinton stating, "Each night, LRVs go to the VCIF for interior cleaning and inspection. Workers hop on board the vehicles to vacuum, clean the seats and handrails, wash the windows and clear any garbage. When necessary, they will also top up the sand used for traction."
