Wychwood Carhouse 19750324

A railfan poses behind A10-class ex-Cincinnati air-electric PCC #4578, set out in dead storage at the south end of St. Clair Carhouse, alongside Western Flyer rebuilt trolley coach 9223. The TTC stored surplus coaches at St. Clair carhouse after the 97 YONGE bus was converted to diesel operation and before the construction of the 6 BAY trolley bus. Trolley bus wires were strung up to keep the batteries charged. Richard Glaze took this photograph on March 24, 1975.
