TP-10 - TTC Plow Car (1945-1978)

TTC snowplow car TP-10 was purchased new from the National Steel Car company in 1945 alongside TP-11, and served the TTC faithfully for over 30 years. It was retired in the late 1970s as the TTC increasingly relied on road plows to keep tracks clear. TP-11 was saved by the Halton County Radial Railway. TP-10 was taken to the Exporail Canadian Railway Museum in Delson-St. Constant, Quebec. TP-10 is seen here at Roncesvalles carhouse on June 5, 1965. This photo is from the Howard Wayt collection.
