Church Streetcar 19610910

On September 10, 1961, long after the CHURCH streetcar folded, railfans for the Upper Canada Railway Society chartered Peter Witt car #2300 for a tour of the system (in celebration of a century of streetcar service in Toronto), including Asquith loop, aligning the rollsigns in the route's memory. This photograph is by R. McMann and is from the John F. Bromley collection.
