Throughout 2022 and into 2023, renovations were made to Eglinton Station ahead of the opening of the Eglinton LRT and the connecting transfer station at the north end of the station. This resulted in a number of changes to the subway platform, essentially moving the public plantform north by several meters. In this May 2023 shot,you see the subway platform from the south stairs, looking toward the section of subway platform that was walled off and no longer used as a platform. The barrier blocking access to trains is visible at left, and the elevator shaft behind the litter and recycling bins. Two staff members are there to help people navigate th modified station.
