On Sunday, September 2, 2018, as part of the Toronto Transportation Society’s transportation weekend, the TTS chartered ALRV #4221 for a run around the system. With the articulated vehicles’ days numbered with retirements and the arrival of the Flexity LRVs, this was a chance to take the venerable streetcar for a ride around the city. The charter was sold out, with every seat occupied, and everyone had a great time. We would like to thank Kevin Nicol and all of the organizers at the Toronto Transportation Society for making this charter such a success. Below are some photographs from the charter.
