Feature Photograph

As we post this new feature photograph, Toronto’s venerable CLRV streetcars are running their last miles, but a lucky few have found new life. Here, Damian Baranowski caught CLRV #4039 heading back from the west loop of the Halton County Railway Museum.

On the site, we’ve been adding new photographs, and adding new articles, including the new Eglinton-Crosstown LRVs, the TTS Farewll to the CLRV charter, and the Streetcar Named Toronto art display. But we’ve also added new material toTransit Toronto’s YouTube channel, including ride-along videos of some of the TTC’s streetcar routes. More will follow as we enter 2020, but be sure to check out what we have now.

We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to Transit Toronto, whether it be with articles or photographs, maps or track diagrams, feedback or criticism. This site wouldn’t be what it is without the efforts of dedicated transit enthusiasts like yourself. We are grateful for all the support, and we look forward to the future.
